Dark Skin Isn’t the Problem: How I Realized This Fact
"Society enforces Euro-centric standards of beauty and anything beyond those standards is frowned upon. So in true judgment, dark skin is not really the problem, it is the society that we live in that thinks it is a problem.
The preconceived thought that something is wrong with having dark skin is pure ignorance. There is nothing wrong with wearing brightly coloured clothes or makeup. There is nothing wrong with the person you are overall. And we don’t need to conform to any ideal of beauty that society has imposed on us. We are the mothers of humanity, so we create our own standards. Don’t allow people to make you feel inferior. Discard the persons who spread pain and hatred in your life and welcome those with positive qualities instead…”
